Appearance: blonde hair, dark brown eyes with tiger-like irises when he heightens his senses, almost unnoticeable whiskers, athletic built, quite fair complexion. Wears a dusty baggy pants, dusty sleeveless shirt, a huge belt, and rubber shoes with really thick soles. He also has a goggles that he wears on his forehead.

Echizen's troops launched a surprise attack on Ikkou Ikki as the rebel band reached the boundary. Horsemen slashed their way as they stormed the peasant band. snipers shoot their arrows from cliffs.
"I DON'T GIVE A DAMN IF THEY'RE FROM THE EMPEROR OR SOME PEASANT CRACKPOTS! NO ONE WILL TAKE ECHIZEN! ATTACK!" The troops' morale raised as Yamato yelled his battlecry.
The peasants fell one by one as they were caught unprepared by the blitzkrieg by the troops.
"KATON! DAI ENDAN!"
a huge fireball suddenly burnt everything down, both the peasants and the Echizen troops. Yashamaru recognized the attack.
"Fire element! a ninjutsu!" He turned to where the fireball came from. He saw a silhouette of a ninja on top of a bamboo grove with the full moon behind him.
"It is unwise of you to turn your back on the emperor. It was a fatal mistake for you to do so..."
"It can't be...! HANZO!"

((Echizen had an uneasy alliance with the Emperor, since Echizen is mostly a ninja-province, though there are people like Yamato that disagrees with that idea.
However, that's not the case right now. Echizen's greatest ninja and ally Hattori Hanzo has joined forces with the emperor after the fall of Okehazama. This has lowered Echizen's morale and eventually caused them to forcefully form an alliance with the emperor.
For Yamato and other loyalists, Kamiyama's decision is a fatal one for it has severed the honor of Echizen. With that said, civil unrest within the province is unavoidable.))

"IKKOU IKKI! THEY'RE HERE!" yelled an imperial watcherman as a rushing band of monks and peasants stormed the imperial camp through the night.
The Imperial forces were cornered as they were sieged by the peasant forces from north, west and southeast. Echizen's troops, led by commander Yamato were on the cliff overseeing what was happening.
"sir! all groups have secured their positions. our defenses are fortified." said the messanger."our orders are to simply fortify our boundary. it will be a matter of time before the imperial troops are wiped out." said Yamato
"aren't we helping them? I mean, Hattori Hanzo--"
"Hattori Hanzo is no longer in our side. we have been depending on that shitty ninja ever since day one! I hate to admit it but that's where I and Kamiyama differ in our beliefs. I knew that there will come a time when that useless ninja will betray us."
Yashamaru, who was also observing the siege down below from the top of a bamboo tree, overheard the conversation. he remained to be seemingly unaffected... but deep inside, his pride as a ninja has been hurt. however, he can't do anything. there are people who doesn't believe in the way of the ninja.
"TEAR DOWN THE IMPERIALISTS! DESTROY ALL THEIR ALLIES!" and all of ikkou ikki has yelled in victory.
It maybe hard to believe but the small imperial troop has fallen so quickly in the hands of Ikkou Ikki. It wasn't long before they advanced towards Echizen's southern fort.
"ready men! don't let them get beyond the border. we'll keep this line from them!"

A year has passed when Imagawa has lost from Oda Nobunaga's forces. It was not long when Tokugawa Ieyasu joined forces with Nobunaga, along with Hattori Hanzo.
It was not long until Kamiyama Enkei has heard the news about the fall of Imagawa in Okehazama from a messanger.
Enkei: so... after Inou and Ukino, Okehazama..
Counsel Sekiya: My lord, if this continues, Oda's forces will continue to Azukizaka. If that will be possible, Ikkou ikki will most probably oppose his campaign.
Enkei: "Ikkou Ikki"?
Counsel Sekiya: yes my lord. Ikkou Ikki... a band of monks and peasants who oppose the shogun.
Enkei: is that so... I can't say I don't oppose Nobunaga, however, I can't let him take Echizen.
*a messenger rushes inside the main hall*
messenger: my lord. Nobunaga's men are spotted south from here. They have made an outpost there.
Enkei: Yashamaru.. I want you to go there and investigate. If they make any form of hostility, try not let them get into the southern outposts.
*Yashamaru emerges from the shadows of the Daimyo's hall, kneeling*
Yashamaru: understood.
*the ninja suddenly disappears in an instant*
Enkei: tell the guards in the southern outposts to fortify. we can't afford to get sieged..
Messenger: yes, my lord!
*the messenger rushes outside and rides his horse below in the darkness of the night.*

-Shinseki iai: ikazuchi no utte: through blinding speed, he cuts through his opponent using his lightning endowed Raijin Tsurugi. commonly unavoidable, however, takes heavy toll on his stamina.
Abilities: Yashamaru have mainly four skills...
Shunpo: lightspeed movement that incorporates the natural Ki of the user and boosts his/her agility.
Raidou: an elemental discipline exclusive only to the hidden Kumogami Clan. It is specialized in transforming natural Ki of one's body into an electroform which can be used as magic spells.
Zanjutsu: swordplay techniques which commonly uses the user's natural Ki and endows lightning energy on his/her blade.
Joei-On Jutsu: the most complicated of the 4 disciplines. the user "erases" all the light that will reveal his existence in the area. (to be explained below...)

The explanation behind the concept of Joei-On Jutsu:
it is said that everything we see is actually the light that comes from the certain object. for example: if you a person, what you actually see is the light that is coming out of the person. the light that comes from the object is received by our eyes and is transmitted to our brain through the electrical signals that is brought by the optic nerves.the objective in Joei-On Jutsu is to disrupt the electrical signals that travels through the target's optic nerves WITHOUT blinding him (thus, that makes it very complicated). blinding the target would alert any nearby guards, thus leading to the failure of the mission. Joei-On Jutsu is usable especially in missions where complete stealth & zero-casualties is required...
It is said that one who has perfected Joei-On Jutsu can also disrupt electrical signals that passes through the target's Optic, Auditory and even Oflactory nerves, thus making him completely invisible.

As the warriors of light continue to fend off the seemingly endless horde of darkness that continues to charge the group, someone from afar has channeled his energy in the palm of his hand...... and with a silent incantation, the energy shoots and pierces the very heart of the Goddess of harmony...
It seemed that time has stopped when Arjuna collapsed and fell to the ground before the warriors of light.
It left the warriors stunned on what they have witnessed. But with the last ounce of her strength, the Goddess she uttered these words before she has completely perished:
"I'm afraid that I have lost the battle.. Now it will be a matter of time before the world is consume in the flames of darkness... I beseech you, find the relic that will aid you to your quest, to save the world. Your hearts will direct you to your relic, find them, and they will give you... hope..."
and in that instant, she vanishes into thin air as the group retreats from the battle..

With the back of the blade of his Lumina weighed on his shoulder, he leaned at his back seeing the hords of mixed beasts, warriors, mechs and what's not charging towards their position.
Patch: Here we go... *smirk*
he swings his blade and takes his stance. as the horde reaches the striking range, some pounces at them. Patch spins and swings his blade slashing the about three incoming beasts. Since then creatures started to attack them, left and right. He fended off each one with a slash from his Lumina..
front, right, left, above, even behind..
Patch:KEEP 'EM COMING!
He charges up his blade with lightning energy, spins it twice around him which creates a electric spiral that surges enemies that come near, then as he ends with a swing, he creates a crescent electric projectile that wipes out several enemies before him. More enemies appeared and charges him.
Patch: this is really getting frustrating...EM-Blades!
electromagnetic hoverblades appear beneath the sole of his shoes. He skates backwards, sweeping enemies that chases him with his Giant Blade.
Patch:EM-Blow!
electrical wave bursts out of his EM-Blades blasting the enemies around him and throwing him airborne. While in mid-air he puts his blade back to the sheath behind him and charges up lightning energy in his fists behind him. He also sees the myriads of enemies to come.
Patch:*sighs* oh please... anyways, let me show you crackpots my signature Hissatsu Waza! MAXIMUM CHARGE: LIGHTNING STRIKE!
he thrusts his palms before him and releases a huge lightning strike towards the enemies and explodes.

---Beginning of the End
*All of the remaining warriors of the light assemble in the midst of the wide grassy plain, seemingly expecting something from the far end of the savannah... And what they were waiting for has arrived. The warriors of darkness march forward with hoards of beasts, monsters and other grotesque figure behind them.
The clouds above the both parties converged. Swirling clouds descended above the two sides. one materializes into a dark figure wearing a black manteau with gigantic and fearsome wyvern wings spreads out from its back and its hood revealing only its illuminating eyes in blue flame. Another a female figure covered in illuminating aura with a notably small crystal embedded on her forehead and with three pairs of huge angelic wings that cover her almost naked body covered only by her aura.
On the side of the Warriors of Darkness was Mephiles, the god of discord...
On the side of the Warriors of Light was Arjuna, the goddess of harmony...
As soon as Mephiles points his black flame covered skeletal hand towards the Warriors of Light, the hoard rushed towards the other end where the warriors took their stance as the setting sun slowly sinks against the horizon.*
